Disneyland . . . .again!

Disneyland is our favorite.

The passes my parents bought us (THANK YOU AGAIN!!!) were slowly coming to an end. In our last month with Disney access we decided to kick it up a notch and try out a roller coaster or two. The kids are finally tall enough to ride them so I tricked convinced them to go on my favorite, Space Mountain.

I think I'll let the photo speak for itself:

Let's just say it will be several years before we attempt that ride again.
Too soon.

Lucy collected Merida's autograph. Merida was amazing. She played with Lucy for about 10 minutes! She talked to her, asked her questions . . . and I think she is really Scottish too! I was really impressed.

Halloween 2013

Before we begin, I would like to extend a heart felt thank you to certain folks (you know who you are!) who identified a little typo on my last blog that has since been corrected. Yikes! I try to keep this blog "family friendly" and unfortunately stumbled into a one-letter-off-mini-swear-word.

Oops!

I will be more diligent in my spell checking and proof reading from here on out.

Helloween is always fun, but this year, I feel like it was extra fun because the kids were really into it! Lucy went with the less poopular choice of American Girl "Kirsten," where as Henry chose the mainstream Superman. Butt BOTH costumes came from Wales and were so so cute!

The kids had a parade at school, then we went trick or treating. It was really fun having Simon get off work early to be with us this year for the whole afternoon and evening.

We still didn't get very many trick or teaters, we never do though doo doo to our busy street! Folks seem to prefer safe streets and neighborhoods where their kids are not in danger of getting hit by cars or trucks. So weird!

Henry practices trick or treating

I know.
You're all like, "whhaaaa? It's Valentine's Day
and she's posting stuff that happened BEFORE HALLOWEEN?!"
And I'm all like, "but it's SOOO FUNNY!"

Here we see Henry getting into the Halloween spirit by donning his swimming goggles as a costume, then reassuring the viewer, that it's not a stranger, but just Henry in disguise.

But the best bit is when he casually whacks himself in the eye with the wooden spoon.

God is So Good

Lucy has been singing with the children's choir at church.
A while back she had a solo and her little voice just knocks me out.
