Bear hug
Bass Lake
We decided to spend the weekend in my old hometown of Oakhurst/Bass Lake! What a magical and nostalgic weekend we had!
It's very strange to stay in a hotel in the town where you spent your formative years, but at the same time, it added a feeling of adventure. We swam in the lake, ate at favorite restaurants (The Pizza Factory, El Cid, The Forks, Miller's Landing) and spent some great quality time with the Heather and Ron, who were up finishing their summer at camp. They treated us to some fun camp time including a leisurely cruise around the lake. We even got to go back to Sierra Vista and see some favorite people.
What a great weekend!
7 months pregnant! (31 weeks) This boy is getting BIG.
Rosie and Lucy threw rocks into the lake. . . Simon threw his share as well.
The sunbathers. . . .

Summerland Beach
An incredible afternoon at one of our favorite spots, Summerland Beach. Lucy is a huge fan of sand, and spent most of her time feverishly digging. She also enjoyed time splashing in the waves with Dada.

Tounge out concentration
Buried alive . . .for about 5 seconds. . .
