Rained out camp out

So what if our camp out in the mountains over Memorial Day got rained out this weekend! Do we complain? Never! Do we give up? Don't be silly! We can still set up the tent in the backyard, right Dad?

Mother's Day

What a blessing to be able to spend Mother's Day not only AS a mother, but with MY mother and my MOTHER'S MOTHER! That's a lot of mothers. 4 generations, to be exact, and we couldn't have been happier. We had a wonderful family day with my Nana and Papa from Peoria, Illinois (great-nana to Lucy!) Events included delicious lunch, gifts, manicures and pedicures, a quick swim in the pool (fun for Rosie, not so fun for Lucy. . .) and an evening around the outdoor fire pit.

Lucy has just become a fan of the pacifier (aka "binky" at home, "dummy" with our beloved English grandparents!)She is, in fact, becoming such a pro with the thing that she has actually started doing tricks. Here are a few of her favorites!
